1. SCOPE AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to individual accommodation bookings of individuals, unless a special agreement has been made and the terms and conditions of the priced product to be booked state otherwise.
These terms and conditions also apply to accommodation bookings made through Tackork’s digital services. Tackork reserves the right to use special terms and conditions that deviate from these terms and conditions if the use of special terms and conditions is justified by public holidays, special events, seasonal fluctuations or ancillary services related to accommodation.
2. RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION
When booking, you must provide your name, residential address, time of arrival and departure, and method of payment. A booking is binding on Tackork once it has been confirmed orally, in writing or, for example, by email, and you have received a confirmation number. Tackork may make the booking subject to different policies, payment of the booking fee or confirmation of the booking by credit card as a condition of the booking being binding.
3. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE IN TACKORK
The room is available for you at 3 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure. Unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking or the price or time you choose is not subject to any other conditions, the room will be reserved for you until 6pm on the day of arrival indicated on the booking.
If you arrive later, you will need to confirm your late arrival time with a credit card. Otherwise, Tackork may resell the room. If you arrive in Tackork according to its arrival times, but the booked room is not available, Tackork must obtain the nearest possible room of the same level at no extra cost.
4. RESERVATION GUARANTEE
An international credit card can be used to confirm the booking. Tackork will keep your room booked after 6pm without having to notify you of a late arrival.
To do this, Tackork needs the following information from you: your name, card number and expiration date, address, phone number and email address. Tackork may request this information in writing or orally.
5. CANCELLATION AND NON-ARRIVAL
For bookings canceled more than a week before the date of booking, Tackork will charge 20% of the total price of the booking. Tackork will charge the full amount of the reservation for any subsequent cancellation.
You have the right to cancel the booking at no cost and get the booking fee refunded if the cancellation is due to your or your loved one’s serious illness, serious accident, death or other unexpected and serious event. A spouse, child, parent, in-laws, sibling, grandparent, or travel companion with whom accommodation has been arranged in the same room is considered nearby. To prove the reason for the cancellation, you need a reliable document such as a medical certificate. However, Tackork is entitled to deduct office expenses from the refundable amount.
6. DEPARTURE BEFORE THE AGREED TIME
If you leave before the agreed departure date, you must notify Tackork of your departure no later than 6pm the day before. In the case of multi-night stays, you will have to pay the agreed price for the unused time. Departure before the agreed time may also cause a change in the total price of the accommodation.
Tackork accepts the most common debit cards. However, Tackork is not obligated to accept foreign currency, coupons, checks or debit cards if Tackork itself has not offered to do so.
As a prepayment, the credit card may be charged at the time of booking as determined by Tackork, which will be deducted from the final invoice. If the room has not been prepaid, the Hotel Room must be paid for in cash on arrival in Tackork or by debit card at the latest on departure.
Tackork reserves the right to charge or prepay your debit card at the time of booking or check-in. If necessary, the costs incurred during the stay can be charged to the used payment card. If Tackork has not pre-verified your debit card, Tackork has the right to charge a security deposit for the use of additional services upon customer login.
8. CUSTOMER PRESENTATION IN THE ACCOMMODATION BUSINESS
At Tackork, we follow good manners and rules of procedure. If you break these rules, you may be immediately removed from Tackork. However, you will have to pay the price of your accommodation and any additional services you have ordered and you will not be able to claim a refund of any payment already made.
9. TACKORK’S LIABILITY FOR YOUR PROPERTY
Tackork can take your valuables for safekeeping upon request. Tackork has the right to charge a fee for the storage of goods.
If the property to be retained is of exceptional value, you must notify Tackork before retaining it. Tackork may refuse to seize such property.
You are responsible for your own luggage unless Tackork has taken it for safekeeping. If Tackork is not responsible for the luggage taken for storage, Tackork must also report this separately.
Tackork is not responsible for damage to or loss of a vehicle or property inside a garage or Tackork car park.
10. CUSTOMER’S LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES
As a customer, you will be liable for any damage caused by you (such as smoking in a room) or your guests or pets to the room or other premises in Tackork, the furniture or fittings there, and to other customers or their property in Tackork.
Liability for damage is determined in accordance with the general principles of damages.
